I can offer a choice of all the leading tennis and badminton string manufacturers or you can provide your own favourite strings. I can offer advice on string tension and what type of string.

Tennis Rackets

Every time you hit a tennis ball, the tension of your racket strings decreases slightly and also wears at the string cross points. To help eliminate string breakage the average club player should think about re-string their racket at 3 monthly intervals.

Badminton rackets.

Check the string tension of your racket regularly. Usually, if you are playing 3-4 times a week, you should restring the racket after every 3 months

Types of Tennis strings

The Different Types of Strings Durable Polyesters and Kevlar. Hybrid Strings Sets and Reels. Natural Gut Strings. Soft & Multifilament Polyesters. Synthetic Gut / Nylon Strings. Multifilament Strings. There is always a compromise between playability and durability, with natural gut and multifilament strings being the most playable and Poly strings being the most durable. This has led to the current fashion for combining different strings on the mains (vertical) and crosses (horizontal). The classic example of this is Roger Federer, whose Champions Choice strings consist of a strong poly and natural gut. Rafa Nadal uses a soft poly string all round (Babolat RPM Blast).
